Cyon lives in the East Bay area of San Francisco with her husband and three kids who she homeschools. After beginning her professional journey as a public educator, Cyon transitioned into vocational ministry where she was ordained and served as the Campus Pastor of Freedom Life Church in Hampton, Virginia. Over the years she has had the honor of working with leaders from a variety of cultures, countries, and contexts. Her heart was particularly captured by marginalized leaders whose voices had been silenced. Out of this, The Table was born. What started as a weekly devotional designed to empower and encourage has now turned into an online community, podcast, courses, and coaching. Through her writing, speaking, preaching, and ongoing leadership, Cyon desires to elevate the voices of the leaders around her and help advance them into the fullness of their purpose and calling.
